The SpIBDer-verse

The SpIBDer-verse is a collection of methods for analysing and visualising IBD networks. Methods are called "modules", and are added as separate tabs in the app. We have implemented the modules in an R Shiny app, so that no R scripts are required for running an analysis.

Currently, the SpIBDer-App can use the following modules:
  1. Visualising/exploring networks in:
    a: Network space.
    b: Geographic space.
  2. Calculating measures of centrality on an individual or variable-grouped level.
  3. Producing heatmaps of connectivity on variable-grouped level (the so-called Ringbauer plot).
  4. Using ERGMs to perform network regression, identifying variables that are correlated with network structure.
Modules that are in development are:
  1. Clustering using community detection.
  2. SpIBDer-crawl. This is the way we explore our data in-house, by setting a seed group of individuals, and then exploring the sub graph containing these individuals.
If you decide to try out the SpIBDer-App, please feel free to give us feedback (at the contact details at the end of the linked vignette below).
